Couple of questions regarding your Holy spec:

1) Why sink 6 points into the renew talents and skip TOF/Serendipity? From my experience, despite what Failcrawler would like us to believe, priest HOTs are dismal and count mostly toward overhealing. With the high amounts of splash damage in both Ulduar and TOC, TOF would see a much greater increase in overall healing power and hasted POH from Serendipity is nothing short of godlike in fights where AOE healing is a necessity.

1) This is somthing that I will look into.. I made this makshift holy build so that i could start healing for some 10 onys and shit like that when i came over to serer i had a DPS build on and wanted to get to know a few peopl i suppose i should spend some time on my holy build since i know its going to be cretiqued..



2) Divine Providence increases the healing on all of a holy priest's heals excluding Flash Heal, AND it reduces the cooldown on PrOM (which is concentrated sex in AOE damage fights). Why are the talents you've picked up in the discipline tree instead more valuable to you than that?
2) Again another good question ive been back and forth on this.. I spoke alittle in my app about how I was healing with some people that out geard me substantualy in LOKI, I was having mana issues b4 i started to accumulate the gear that I have now.. I speccd down into Disc for more mana cntrl, thruout some of the longer engadgements..


3) No GS? 40% extra healing on a tank for 10 seconds every minute (glyphed) with a chance to prevent a death every 3 minutes is insane, even if as a Holy priest you aren't going to be healing him. Plus, there are some hard modes and such where priest CDs like GS and PS are almost necessary to prevent tank death.

3)This is just a personal prefferance, I found myself not using it as much as I heald thruout encounters the balace line felt better vs. my playstyle to improve my hots and keep rotations up on folks to not realy paint myself into such a corner where Im gonna need it.. I need to look intot he glyph more b4 i comment on it thanx for your feedback..

I don't mean to come across as mean in any way, but I don't think you have a clue how to properly raid.

P.S. I would invest some time in building a better UI. The default blizzard UI does not have all the tools you need to heal effectively. I would start at some unit frames (x-perl or pitbull if you want a challenge), and look into grid + clique or healbot. Oh, you may try googling for a program called "fasterping." its a program that makes an adjustment to your registry and could possible lower your ping substantially-- 300+ ping is ass .

Hey Merloch, well put together app. However, it looks like either you're fairly new to the game or have not done a ton of research into PvE.

However, as Odeen has eluded to, you spec for PvE is far from optimal. In my opinion, GS is one of the best talents in the holy tree when glyphed. The dispel glyph is for PvP. Period. You need to get the GS glyph. It gives you the ability to use it more freely in raids to save lives. Worst case scenario, it procs and you save a killing blow.

As far as your spec goes, removing the cooldown on shield is only necessary as disc. As holy, the idea is to heal the damage taken, not prevent it. (This is in part why taking Divine Providence is essential as holy) Disc is the 'absorb' spec. As holy your main focus is to raid heal and do it quickly. CoH and PoM are awesome heals. Couple them with Serendipity and PoH when needed, and holy is an extremely powerful AoE healing spec.

If you armory any of our healing priests, you'll see that we're all some variation of 14/57/0. I usually spend the two points in Body and Soul while everyone else puts those points elsewhere. (More than one priest with BaS tends to cause issues with the Weakened Soul debuff.) Take some time to read through the first few pages of the EJ thread that Oktan linked and you'll have a better understanding of what we're capable of.

As others have eluded to you should look into changing up your UI a bit. You said that you liked to use Grid and what not for healing.

So get into a raid(AV works) and show us what your raiding ui would be like. Complete with Grid and what not enabled.
